Official Size 7 Basketballs - 2 Pack PU Leather for Indoor/Outdoor Play & Streetball Training

I purchased these 2 basketballs for my son‘s 14th birthday! He absolutely loves basketball and somehow his basketballs always end up either lost or left at a friends or damaged! Probably because he plays with them so often! So when his birthday was coming up… I thought new basketballs would just be perfect for him. Also the ones he had before were the brown color and when I saw these black ones… I knew they would be super cool! Well he ended up loving them… He inflated him about five seconds after he open the gift. These balls come deflated With a pump and needles to inflate your basketballs right when they are opened! These are really nice grippable balls. He decided to have one be an indoor basketball and the other one to be an outdoor basketball which is perfect for him! These are high-quality basketballs not cheapskate crappy ones! Durable and Nice quality… I would definitely buy these again if needed!I like how it is water proof, and can be used inside doors, and outside doors. 10/10Good price for two balls and a pump…This is very good quality basketball. Affordable price for me. No problem with purchased.These are nice balls and when fully inflated have great bounce and rim response. But I noticed after a couple months that I would have to top off with air every couple days. I know better to moisten the needle before inserting for inflation, so I wouldn't have damaged the respective seals in that regard; but I'm uncertain what else it could be. And the fact that this is happening in BOTH balls, makes me think it is a design quality issue. We'll still use the balls (with air compressor nearby) at home; but these are not the ones we'd leave in the truck expecting to have at the ready for a quick pickup game at the park. Leaking aside, the styling is great and they both have nice grip.Having played in thousands of pickup basketball games, I say these provide 80% performance compared to the pro basketballs at a fraction of the cost.Nice combination of stickiness and smoothness for handles.More leather feel than rubber feel.Good value, it comes with a serviceable pump/needle and 2 basketballs.Basketball's a great - and fairly straightforward sport. All you really need is a ball, a court and a hoop - and the court doesn't nearly have to be full size, or even half. But the first item on that list is a ball. So if you need a ball (or two) then this isn't a bad set to check out. The balls are official size in a nice PU leather that has a very good feel in the hand and the coloring is good as well - you have a few options, I went with the one in black/blue and black/red. Once inflated, they hold air well and have a good bounce and shooting feel. Not quite like natural leather BUT much more durable on all court types - natural leather's great on hardwood or synthetic floors...but play outside on concrete or asphalt and they get eaten up and ratty in no time flat. These will hold up much better to outdoor usage.Both balls are, of course, the same except for the color. You also get a small pump and two needles. It's sufficient to inflate the two balls but hardly a high quality pump (it seems likely to soon break) - think of it as basically a throw in to get the two balls up and going but not a long term solution or something you're actually "paying" for. And that gets to the crux of the issue here. You get two nice balls here - if you don't count the pump as worth much - then you're paying something of a premium. The balls are quite nice and seem very durable - so perhaps they're worth the premium. I think they are, but that's a decision you'll have to make for yourself!At around $50 for 2 basketballs and a hand pump, this isn't the cheapest deal you can find, but that's not a bad thing. These are actually pretty nice basketballs. They look nice, feel great, have just about ideal grip, and perform perfectly. They really are good for both indoor and outdoor play and feel durable enough to last long enough to be worth the price. The included pump is pretty decent too. It's nothing special obviously, but it is a nice dual-action. I have a shop air compressor in the garage, but was able to air these up with the hand pump in about the same amount of time it would have taken to go upstairs and hook up the inflator needle on my compressor. I do wish it had a spot to store the needle, but I'm not going to complain about extra features in a free hand pump. The basketballs passed the picky teenager test which is really something so I'm happy, lol. I received this as a promotion to review, but I'm not a paid reviewer or employee. This is my honest opinion, and I will update this review if anything changes.
