My son loves two things - basketball and the color red (notice myself and his mother were not included in the list). So when it came time to get the boy an ol’ bball to shoot hoops with at home with his old man, I went straight for this one. And it has been left outside, in the hot California sun, and the cool California rain, for months now and works good as new. You want it to bounce? Just throw it down and it’ll bounce right back up. You want it to maintain its spherical shape? I ain’t no Albert Einstein (despite what my classmates called me), but it still looks pretty round to me. You want it to go through the hoop every time you shoot, like some magic ball that can’t miss and you get an NBA contract out of it, but when the big game comes your ball is nowhere to be found, but you hit the game winning shot anyway cuz it turns out the “magic” was in you all along? Well so far that hasn’t happened to me, but if you’re in the market for a red outdoor basketball, do yourself a favor and buy this one already.We used a pump that I bought on Amazon to inflate the ball. I'm really glad that I didn't rely on the one that is included.It bounces it makes the cool sound, it says NBA on it So I thought I would be able to make shots like I was in the NBA but NOOOOO I can’t . So don’t think it’s going to help youJust a word of caution the basketball is not officially an NBA size it's slightly smaller but the seller gave me a discount after I noticed when I received it that it wasn't the full NBA size it's slightly smaller good seller who I would purchase from again.Quality is okay. Price is too high for this tiny ball.Came inflated out of the box, good grip, the pebbles have a good smooth but gripy feel, all around the ball is great for the value. Would definitely recommend it.It was not red. I expected a it to be red and a much darker color. Other than that it's a good basketball and the pump was cool. It looks like a cheap replica. I refuse to believe this is an authentic Wilson ball. I contacted the seller asking for a refund, but I've not heard back for 4 days.
